Drying at high pressure requires special solutions

Beko Technologies has launched the new DRYPOINT® AC HP adsorption dryer to cope with the specific difficulties of high pressure compressed air drying, making it particularly relevant to offshore and petrochemical applications. High pressure compressed air between 100 and 350 bar shows stronger contamination by solid particles, oil and sometimes aggressive condensate is reliably processed. It is the relationship between the high pressure and the quality of the compressed air, that gives the drying of compressed air high importance inside a high pressure system. The demands on safety and reliability are as important as the economical demands on such a system.

The DRYPOINT® AC HP dryer offers highest reliability needed in high pressure applications. Like the standard Drypoint AC cold-regenerated adsorption dryers, the DRYPOINT® AC HP is ideally suited to processes that need an unvarying supply of high-quality compressed air and a constant drying level. However, due to the high pressure capacity of the DRYPOINT® AC HP , it can offer significant benefits to such processes as drying of control air, granulate drying, laboratory and analytical systems, chemical industry, paint-spraying facilities, air-operated conveying systems, air-conditioning systems and the electronics industry.

The economical and reliable performance of the new DRYPOINT® AC HP is due to its standard high grade steel desiccant tubular tanks. These enable the employment of a highly efficient re-calming zone with a separate storage function within the inlet area. Condensate is safely retained from the drying agent and discharged along with the regeneration air, which conserves the drying agent, increases functional reliability and reduces maintenance costs.
